Andy Marx is an award-winning photographer, creative director, and writer, whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wrap, Billboard, L.A. Weekly, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, Watch!, Premiere, and Movieline, among others. His corporate clients include Lionsgate Films, CBS Films, 20th Century Fox, CBS, NBC, and Awesomeness TV.
He co-founded the popular comedy website, Hollywood & Swine, known for its lampooning of Hollywood, and referred to as "The Onion" of the entertainment industry by Entertainment Weekly. He also served as the site's creative director.
In 2014, Marx's first novel, Royalties, was published to enthusiastic reviews and was included in USA Today's list of "Notable Books of 2014." The multi-generational, historical romance is based on the lives of his paternal grandfather, the legendary comedian, Groucho Marx, and his maternal grandfather, the renowned songwriter, Gus Kahn, whose hits include "It Had to Be You," "Makin' Whoopee" and "Dream a Little Dream."
Marx is based in Los Angeles.
